We are very pleased to announce that Tinsley Meadows is this year’s Regional Winner for Yorkshire & the Humber in the ‘Schools with published Key Stage 2 results’ category of the Pupil Premium Awards.  These Awards celebrate the achievement of the schools who have done the most to improve the performance of disadvantaged children.

Mrs Webb was very proud to accept the Award on behalf of the whole school team at a ceremony in London on Thursday 12 May.  Tinsley Meadows came top out of all primary schools in the Yorkshire and Humber Region for its work on Pupil Premium and was one of 8 schools out of 16,766 primary schools in the country to be recognised, which is a fantastic achievement – well done to the whole staff team for their hard work and dedication which has contributed to the Award!

The photograph shows (L-R) Antony Hughes, Vice Chair of Governors; Rebecca Webb, Executive Head Teacher; Sam Gyimah, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Education;  Emma Huntley, Executive Business Manager; and Sheila Sutherland, School Governor.
