Five Rivers Teaching School Academy

Tinsley Meadows Primary School is a good school working towards becoming outstanding. Our excellent staff team, strong leadership and evidence based practice give us the edge when it comes to innovation and success.

We strive to share the successes of our school and we work closely with other schools and organisations for the benefit of children locally, regionally and nationally.

We are currently working with a number of schools within SSELP (Sheffield South East Learning Partnership) and Learners First, Rotherham to provide leadership consultancy on areas such as moderation, assessment, feedback, marking and subject specific support and coaching.

Within school we have several Specialist Leaders in Education , Local Leaders in Education and our CEO works at National Leader in Education level. We also have a number of aspiring leaders of the future.

Five Rivers Strategic School Improvement Fund Project

February 2018 to March 2019

Five Rivers TSA led a SSIF project in 7 schools across Sheffield and Derbyshire.  Through strategic coaching and training our SLEs implemented the teaching of Contextualised Grammar, building on the EEF research of Debra Myhill and Exeter University.
